HR Operations Specialist

HR Operations Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven HR Operations Specialist to support our HR Operations. This customer-facing role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values collaboration, and can follow direction with precision. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR systems, data management, and employee support.

Key Responsibilities

• Employee Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems.

• Onboarding & Offboarding: Assist with onboarding new hires and managing employee terminations and transitions.

• Benefits Administration: Process benefits changes, answer employee inquiries, and ensure compliance with internal policies.

• HRIS Management: Use and maintain HR information systems (UKG experience preferred) to manage employee data and generate reports.

• Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze HR metrics and prepare reports to support decision-making.

• Compliance: Ensure adherence to employment laws and internal HR procedures.

• Employee Relations Support: Respond to employee questions and support a positive, service- oriented work environment.

• Process Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to streamline operations and increase efficiency.

• Project Support: Assist with the coordination and execution of ongoing HR initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in an HR operations or HR administrative role

• Associates Degree (preferred)

• Experience with ticketing systems and managing HR requests in a timely manner

• Proficiency with HRIS systems, especially UKG (preferred)

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Highly process-oriented with excellent organizational skills

• Ability to collaborate in a team environment and follow direction effectively

• Excellent communication and customer service skills, especially in a customer-facing setting

• Knowledge of HR compliance and data confidentiality practices

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written proficiency required)

Hourly Range: $25 - $30 p/h
