ResponsibilitiesThe HR Program Manager is a strategic role responsible for overseeing and driving successful planning, execution, and delivery of multiple interrelated projects within the HR Strategic Services Partners department and initiatives at Ascension. This role collaborates closely with HR leaders to ensure the successful implementation of HR programs while partnering with various stakeholders, including executives.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Development & Strategy Alignment: Develop program goals and infrastructure that align with Ascension's defined business strategies, ensuring clear connections between HR initiatives and broader organizational objectives.Program & Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and management of multiple HR programs and initiatives. This includes creating detailed program and project plans, developing management tools, and establishing effective reporting systems to track progress.Team Leadership & Resource Allocation: Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring resources are effectively assigned and utilized to meet program objectives. Regularly assess and adjust plans to accommodate changing resource requirements.Monitoring & Reporting: Track and communicate program progress, providing regular updates on milestones, outcomes, and metrics. Ensure that program quality standards are met and any issues are promptly addressed.Problem Resolution & Risk Management: Proactively address challenges or roadblocks to ensure projects remain on track. Provide guidance to project teams and leaders on overcoming gaps, incomplete deliverables, or missed milestones while identifying and mitigating potential risks.Budget & Timeline Management: Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget (where applicable). Continuously evaluate and manage project timelines, ensuring efficient use of resources.KPI Alignment & Strategic Focus: Align projects with program KPIs and Ascension’s broader HR strategic goals. Ensure all initiatives support Ascension’s core values and ABIDE hallmarks.Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
Experience: Proven HR experience, particularly in recruitment or shared services.Project Management Expertise: Strong background in project management, with hands-on experience in leading complex initiatives and programs.Communication Skills: Exceptional presentation skills, including experience creating slide decks for executive and stakeholder meetings.Problem-Solving & Leadership: Ability to lead teams through challenges, offering guidance and solutions to keep projects moving forward.Strategic Mindset : Ability to think strategically, aligning HR initiatives with organizational goals and values to drive meaningful outcomesEducation:
High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.Additional Preferences#LI-remote #HRJobs
