HR Project Manager

Beacon Hill has partnered with a growing corporation in downtown Chicago in hiring an HR Project manager to start immediately. This is a contract position starting in January.

As the Human Resources Project Manager, you will lead and manage HR projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they align with the company's objectives and meet deadlines and budget requirements. You will collaborate with HR leadership, department heads, and cross-functional teams to implement HR initiatives, enhance employee engagement, and improve overall organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end HR projects, including workforce planning, talent management, employee development, and HR systems integration.Develop project plans, set clear milestones, and ensure timely completion within scope and budget.Collaborate with HR leaders to identify project goals and align with organizational strategy.Coordinate with other departments to gather necessary resources and support for successful project execution.Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and track progress, adjusting as necessary.Ensure communication and collaboration across all stakeholders involved in HR initiatives.Prepare regular progress reports and present them to senior management and other stakeholders.Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring tasks are delegated appropriately.Identify and mitigate project risks and issues to ensure successful outcomes.Ensure HR projects are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. A Master's degree is a plus.5 years + of experience in HR project management or HR management roles, with a proven track record of delivering HR projects successfully.Strong understanding of HR practices, policies, and systems.Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and working in a fast-paced, changing environment.Strong project management skills with experience in planning, executing, and monitoring complex projects.Proficiency in HR software and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello).Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Ability to analyze and solve problems creatively and strategically.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.
