Description Robert Half is seeking a dedicated and results-driven HR Recruiter to join our team. In this role, you will be a key driver in identifying, attracting, and matching top talent with client opportunities. You’ll be a trusted advisor to job seekers while building lasting relationships with hiring managers and clients. Your role will include managing the entire recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a seamless process for both candidates and clients at an engineering firm in Goleta, CA. This position will be temporary for 3 months with the potential for temporary to hire. Responsibilities: + Partner with hiring managers to gain a clear understanding of their staffing requirements and develop tailored recruitment strategies to attract top talent. + Post and maintain job openings on the applicant tracking system (ATS), company website, and relevant job boards, ensuring roles are advertised effectively. + Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers to facilitate a smooth interview process. + Organize and represent the company at career fairs and networking events to expand talent pipelines. + Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records using internal databases and tools. + Conduct thorough reference checks and coordinate background verification processes, including drug testing, to ensure compliance with company standards. + Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a positive and seamless transition into the company. + Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR Manager, including assistance with special projects such as performance reviews, workers' compensation claims, and event coordination (e.g., Lunch & Learns and company events). + Maintain and update employee records to ensure data accuracy and compliance with regulations. + Serve as a resource for employee inquiries, offering guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to promote a positive workplace experience. Requirements + Demonstrated experience as a Recruiter, either in-house or within a staffing agency, with a proven track record of success in talent acquisition. + Highly motivated self-starter with strong prioritization and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively. + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor that fosters positive relationships with candidates and hiring managers. + Detail-oriented and well-organized, with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks. + Solid understanding of fundamental HR practices, including employment laws, hiring processes, and compliance requirements. + Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), with the ability to quickly learn and utilize recruitment software and tools. + U.S. Citizenship required to comply with federal government contracting mandates. + SHRM-CP, PHR, or an HR university extension certification is preferred but not mandatory.
