HR Shared Services Assistant

What you'll do The HR Shared Services Assistant will work under the general supervision of the HR Shared Services Lead and will provide critical support in the HR and recruitment functions of Bassett Healthcare Network. The primary objective is to provide support and guide an effective and efficient HR process through accurate and timely processing of candidate and new hire scheduling and other HR division related administrative tasks. Strong communication, organization, and service skills are essential to represent Bassett and Human Resources well to our applicants, leaders and employees. This is an onsite position, requiring the employee to be onsite at a network location every day. The employee will have a primary location at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown, NY but should expect to travel to additional locations within the network based on business needs. Answers all HR calls to the main HR lines Responds to HR related emails Greets all visitors to the HR House Sorts and distributes all incoming and outgoing HR mail at the HR house Monitors office supply levels and informs the appropriate party when additional supplies need to be ordered Manages and maintains the Bassett Housing page on the intranet Assists the HR Shared Services Specialists with creating, maintaining and auditing employee files Manages confidential and sensitive employee information and adheres to strict data privacy standards Assists all areas of HR with administrative functions Assist HR Shared Services team with administrative functions Manually enters candidate data into ATS systems Schedules interviews with candidates and hiring managers Partners with Talent Acquisition Partners/Nursing Recruiters to coordinate events and community activities Supports the Shared Services team with employee engagement and employee recognition initiatives throughout the Network Performs other duties as assigned What we need from you Education/Qualifications: High school or GED, required 2 Year / Associates degree in related field preferred, and can be used in lieu of experience Experience: 2 years experience as administrative support or in a business office, required 1 year experience in a multi-functional role where high-touch customer service, required 1 year experience working in a high-volume environment, preferred Skills: Accuracy Attention to Detail Build Relationships Communication Computer Skills Customer Service Maintain Files Time Management Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 lbs of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Pay Range Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards. Pay Range Minimum: USD $19.50/Hr. Pay Range Maximum: USD $29.26/Hr.
