Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a HR SPEC (INFORMATION SYSTEMS/MILITARY), Position Description Number D2932000 and is part of the 107TH ATKW, National Guard. This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants. Responsibilities As a HR SPEC (Information Systems / Military), you will serve as the Human Resources Specialist (Information Systems/Military) performing developmental assignments. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: Enlisted SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1-year specialized experience must be equivalent to at least the next lower grade. Provides technical support to include system security, user account management, and user access. Provides advisory services to users on the technical aspects of PDS applications, the capabilities available within the systems to assist them in day-to-day operations and their impact on personnel programs. Develops local data products required for FSS work centers and develops products in response to requests from other base personnel. Analyzes higher headquarters systems procedures and implements local systems procedures. Provides military personnel advisory services to commanders and staff on all personnel systems programs. Education If using Education to qualify, Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree If using education to qualify for this position, copy of official transcripts is required. Additional Information If you are a male applicant who was born after 12/31/1959 and are required to register under the Military Selective Service Act, the Defense Authorization Act of 1986 requires that you be registered or you are not eligible for appointment in this agency (Register | Selective Service System : Selective Service System (sss.gov)). Recruitment, Retention, and Relocation Incentive may be authorized up to 25% of base pay for a max of 4 years pending TAG approval. Relocation costs are authorized subject to provisions of the Joint Travel Regulation and an agency determination that a Permanent Change of Station (PCS) move is in the Government's best interest. Superior Qualifications and Special Needs Pay-setting Authority may be considered for this position. TAG is final approval authority for incentive programs (applicable to newly appointed federal employees or those with a 90 day break in service).
