The Role:
As a HR Specialist for U.S. Retirement Plans in Global Total Rewards & Employee Relations you will be responsible for developing strategies, analyzing data, and assessing the effectiveness of our GM Savings Plans. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our retirement plans align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
Analyze Plan data and recommend strategic initiatives for financial wellness and retirement readinessConduct strategic Plan benchmarking including AonHewitt Benefit Index, TAPF, and defined contribution (DC) studiesSupport the development of the annual Total Rewards Journal from design to implementationSupport the development of Plan language and recommend updates to existing Plan provisions, including collaboration with Global Business Services (GBS) and third-party administrators on benefit design, implementation, communication, and deliveryAnalyze proposed and current legislative and regulatory changes (PBGC, DOL, ERISA) and recommend Plan strategies accordinglyEvaluate marketplace “best practices” and recommend new technology and/or tools to facilitate employee engagement in personal financial managementEvaluate and make recommendations for global financial wellbeing solutionsSupport GBS and COE with investigation of Plan provisions and develop resolutionReview updates to Summary Plan Description(s) and modify based on Plan language modificationsSupport GBS and COE with special projects (i.e. Direct Stock Purchase Program), including communication of sameSupport internal and external Savings Plan auditsContribute to the development of training and communications materialsAdditional Job DescriptionRequired:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business or similar field5+ years’ experience in U.S. retirement plans, specifically defined contribution plansStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in collaboratively and independentlyExcellent communication and presentation skills (written & verbal)Strong organizational and project planning skillsCapacity to manage multiple projects concurrentlyProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.Strong analytical skillsPreferred:
