Essential Duties

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Work directly with and report to the HR Business Partner regarding all HR endeavorsAssist with new hire procedures, including creating employee files, administering handbooks, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is properly filled out and submitted to appropriate personsHandle employment-related inquiries from employees and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the HR Business PartnerOrganize, maintain, and update employee files and HRIS information as neededFoster positive employee relations and work to solve any employee issues that ariseDemonstrates a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues; maintains confidentiality regarding all employee-related issuesAssists with special HR projects as assignedPerform duties in compliance with company safety policies and procedures
