Overview:
The Edinburg Center, a $43 million nonprofit community-based organization in Bedford, MA, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated HR Specialist to join our dynamic team. This position reports to the HR Manager and offers a fantastic opportunity to grow in the HR field while supporting a variety of HR functions. We are beginning the process of implementing a new HRIS system and you will be hands-on and involved in this exciting new project. You’ll also have an opportunity to work in benefits administration, recruitment, onboarding, while gradually taking on additional responsibilities. You will work closely with leadership to ensure the HR department runs smoothly and that we foster a positive and inclusive work environment.

· HRIS Implementation: Participate as a member of the design and implementation team to support the implementation of our new system Dayforce.
Benefits Administration: Assist with employee benefits enrollment, answer questions, and ensure compliance with benefit plans. Recruitment: Join a team of talented Recruitment professionals to assist in the screening, selection and onboarding of newly hired employees. HR Projects: Take the lead on projects that are designed to increase productivity and efficiency as needed. Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with managers and staff to ensure the effective delivery of HR services and support to all teams.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field Strong technology skills and an interest in solving problems using technology; you’re not an IT professional, but you use technology to get things done (and make things better!) 2+ years of experience in an HR role Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the organization Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with HRIS systems. Familiarity with Teams is a plus.Be YOU!
