Job Description
We are seeking an experienced HR Specialist in Hungary to become a key member of our Adriatic and Hungary HR Team.
In this role, you will oversee the preparation of payroll administration, manage the onboarding and offboarding processes, and be involved in HR business partnering. The HR Specialist aims to ensure seamless payroll processing, effective onboarding and offboarding, and accurate maintenance of employee records to support all HR operational functions. This position also focuses on enhancing talent management and development, while ensuring compliance through efficient financial management and reporting. The HR Specialist will perform tasks in collaboration with Shared Service Support and the Center of Expertise, while being an integral part of the HR Team for the Adriatic and Hungary Affiliate.
HR Operations:
Ensuring accurate and timely payroll processes with an outsourced payroll model in close collaboration with the Payroll Specialist located outside of the country. Payroll data collection and submission to Payroll team.Payroll data collection and submission to agencies in for all contractors.Facilitate onboarding processes by coordinating with line managers, preparing employment contracts, and ensuring a seamless integration of new employees.Handle offboarding activities, including preparing exit documents, conducting exit interviews, and managing the return of company assets.Track service center ticket system and ensure that timely employee support is provided and escalations appropriately managed.Support the local benefit system by collaborating with Total Rewards (TRs) to provide input for the annual survey, ensuring that benefits are competitive and aligned with employee needs.Employee Records & Administration:
Maintain and ensure the accuracy of employee records. Update and manage databases and systems - Workday, UKGPro, Fieldglass, EHS, other local systems and HR databases.Prepare contract changes for job moves, compensation changes, and other employment adjustments.Manage outsourced workers, contractors, and students, ensuring all related benefits and payments are accurately administered.Time & Absence Administration:
Oversee the administration of time and attendance systems, ensuring accurate reporting and payroll processing.Handle sick leave documentation and attendance sheet management.EHS:
Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards, integrating these considerations into daily operations and fostering a safe and healthy workplace environment.Talent Management & Development:
Support recruitment processes and employee promotion alignments.Provide assistance in performance issue resolution and employee relations challenges.Coordinate leadership training and language courses.Financial Management:
Supervise vendor and contract processes, including preparation, bank verification, and upload to internal systems.Handle purchase order management and prepare financial reports related to HR activities.Additional Responsibilities:

University degree or equivalent (business administration, human resources or a relevant field)3+ years of experience in HR operations including payroll administration and compensation and benefitsStrong knowledge of labor legislation and payroll processesExperience in a multinational environment and a proven track record in managing HR via Shared Service Supported operations model.English and Hungarian language proficiency verbally and in writing.Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.Solid problem-solving and team management abilities.
