As an HR Specialist your responsibilities will encompass various tasks related to attracting and onboarding new talent, as well as managing the process of employee departures. Your role is critical in ensuring the organization has the right people in place and that employee exits are handled smoothly and professionally. Recruitment Responsibilities:
Implement diverse and effective sourcing strategies, including job postings, social media outreach, talent databases, and networking, to attract a qualified and diverse pool of candidates. Review resumes and applications, and conduct initial screenings to shortlist candidates based on qualifications, experience, and alignment with the company's values and culture. Coordinate and conduct interviews, both in-person and virtual, with candidates. Collaborate with hiring managers to assess candidates' skills, competencies, and cultural fit. Administer aptitude tests, personality assessments, and other relevant evaluations to gauge candidates' suitability for specific roles. Extend job offers to selected candidates, negotiate terms of employment, and manage the candidate's acceptance process. Collaborate with HR team members to ensure a smooth transition for new hires, preparing necessary paperwork, coordinating orientation sessions, and addressing any initial queries or concerns. Contribute to building and promoting the organization's employer brand, highlighting its strengths and opportunities to attract top talent. Assist in the implementation of employee recruitment incentive programs.
Onboarding & Offboarding Responsibilities:
Conduct Onboarding for newly hired employees. Conduct exit interviews with departing employees to gather valuable feedback on their experiences, reasons for leaving, and suggestions for improvement. Ensure a well-organized offboarding process, which includes collecting company assets (e.g., laptops, badges), terminating system access, and communicating with relevant departments to complete paperwork, such as final paychecks and benefits information. Maintain accurate records of employee departures, including exit interview reports, feedback, and any necessary documentation for legal or compliance purposes. Develop and analyze offboarding surveys to gain insights into the overall employee experience and identify areas for improvement. Cultivate positive relationships with former employees to build an alumni network, fostering potential rehiring prospects and brand ambassadors. Ensure offboarding processes align with labor laws, company policies, and ethical standards. Regularly review and enhance recruitment and offboarding processes to streamline operations and enhance the overall employee experience.Other Responsibilities:
Assist in addressing employees' HR-related questions, concerns, and issues. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of performance appraisal processes. Provide assistance in coordinating training sessions and workshops for employees' skill enhancement and professional development. Help in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures. Collect and analyze HR metrics to gain insights into trends and patterns related to workforce planning, turnover, and other HR-related data. Prepare HR reports for management and recommend data-driven strategies. Collaborate in the development and execution of employee engagement initiatives and retention programs. Assist in investigations related to employee complaints or legal issues.
