We are searching an HR Specialist for our office in Warsaw / Poland in part-time (20 hours per week). This position will be aligned to the HR Team providing consultancy to managers and employees.
NCR Atleos (NCR ATM Polska) has a well-established presence in Warsaw and this role will work closely with site based management team to ensure Employee/Labor Relations, Recruitment and Talent Management are effectively managed. In liaison with local and global management, the role will help creating a productive and engaging work environment where we can build success for the future of our company.
This position is also responsible for executing and implementing company workforce initiatives as designed by the HR Strategic Business Partners, Talent & Organizational Effectiveness, Workforce Planning and Total Rewards organizations.
+ Provides HR Specialist support and consultancy to the various Business Units in NCR Atleos Poland.
+ Supports the deployment and implementation of Corporate programs, e.g. Employee Engagement, Performance Management, Talent Management, salary/bonus/benefit plan implementation, headcount planning/reporting, RIF’s (Reduction in force), retention, career development, employee and labour relations, etc
+ Maintains awareness of legislative trends and requirements and manages, consults and implements HR and business projects and ensures compliance with applicable labor legislation and internal policies and procedures
+ Partners with local labor organizations as needed to manage labor relations, grievances, etc.
+ Drives and manages works council relationship and negotiations
+ Partners with Total Rewards team and assist managers in compensation decisions
+ Provides day-to-day counseling, coaching and mentoring to managers and employees regarding development, career & succession planning, and supports managers to recognize, motivate and retain employees; supports rollout and implementation of training programs
+ Partners with managers and employees to drive the development and execution of employee performance improvement plans
+ Manages employee relations issues such as harassment, discrimination, or conflict in a manner that mitigates company risk and leads to successful resolution.
+ Partners with local/corporate legal counsel and security teams to conduct investigations/inquiries as necessary
+ Coordinates with HR Strategic Business Partners in the execution of the people strategy for company workforce initiatives such as reductions in force, divestitures, mergers and acquisitions
+ Drives engagement with the HR Central Team, identifies work processes to transition to HR Shared Services team and supports documentation
+ Partners with team members throughout the HR organization (CoE’s, GPO’s and HRBPs) to communicate and educate on HR policies, procedures, and compliance.
Basic Requirements
+ Master’s degree in Human Resources, Management or some related field e.g. Employment Law.
+ 10+ years HR experience
+ Applied knowledge of employment legislation and compliance requirements in Poland.
+ Union/Works Council experience
+ Experience in Employee Relations, including grievance, disciplinary, dismissal etc.
+ Excellent interpersonal, consultative, communication and negotiation skills
+ Teamplayer with the ability to establish strong working relationships with business leaders; demonstrated ability to collaborate with other departments
+ Demonstrated ability to prioritize, as well as to recognize and initiate process improvements
+ Experience working on various HR programs/projects
+ English and Polish fluency in verbal and written communication is a must
+ PC functionality including strong expertise in general business software packages (i.e. Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Preferred Requirements
+ Change Management experience
+ Strong communication, negotiation & conflict resolution skills
+ GHRMS “Workday” experience
