Flynn Group of Companies, North America’s leading building envelope contractor is looking for a HR Systems Analyst to work at our Mississauga location. The HR Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting and maintaining human resource information systems (HRIS) for the organization. To provide advisory services, technical guidance and support to internal customers on the operation and maintenance of our HRIS platforms. They must work well in a team setting to meet objectives in a timely manner; however, they also need to be able to perform effectively with minimal supervision.
This position will be part of IT department and reporting to the HRIS-Payroll Systems Manager.

Actively participate in meetings with stakeholders for requirements gathering, utilize and adopt the established test processes and procedures, test documents, templates and test tools in implementing all test activities. Developing system documentation for the HRIS modules; provide proper training aids that meet change management governance. Gather business requirements and translate to technical action. Provide impact analysis and regression testing for proposed changes to HRIS systems. Create recurring scheduled reports and ad hoc reports. Working with the reporting Manager to deliver strategies and roadmaps for new releases or existing systems with a holistic view of the business. Maintain positive relationships with appropriate HR, IT, Finance, Management, Administration Teams and third-party vendors to determine enhanced offerings for current and future system functionality. Customize and optimize system settings and upload employee data files Ensure data integrity and system stability through regular internal audits and proactive maintenance activities. Ownership of work tasks through to completion and provide timely updates to the HRIS & Payroll System Manager related to progress. Off hours support as required.
Testing: Reviewing and evaluating requirements and design documentation to develop detailed test strategies and comprehensive test documentation. Use this documentation to perform testing for assigned application systems and report the progress of testing tasks to the Reporting Manager. Conduct system testing including system upgrades, implementation and or Production issues. Supporting system upgrades, new releases, testing, validation, and overall performance analysis.
Documentation and Processes: Attend working sessions where design documents are being developed for existing documents and new Processes. Develop and maintainProcess documents and functional specifications Collaborating with HR customers and other business functions to design/maintain processes that will improve overall effectiveness and efficiency. What are we seeking:Minimum 1 year of SuccessFactors modules experience and/or3years’ experience with Workday, UltiPro, SAP and/or similar solution. Experience with Onboarding, Employee Central and Benefits is an asset. Bachelor’s degree in human resources management and/or related discipline. In-depth knowledge of HR processes and employee Life cycle changes. Previous experience working in a unionized environment is an asset. Advanced skills in Excel required. Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills. Demonstrate the ability to learn and use a variety of software applications for Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-project environment with shifting priorities, and the ability to reassess and reprioritize competing business needs. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters with objectivity and discretion, high personal standard of integrity.
