Reporting to the Manager Human Resources, the HR Systems Specialist II will provide HR systems (e.g. Workday and Guardian) and process support to employees, HR Partners and Managers. You will administer HR programs, ensure data and security integrity, and process payroll. Additionally, you will provide high-touch customer service through telephone, email, and case management system.
You Will:
Assist HR Partners and Managers with completion of HR-related transactions/business processes in Workday (i.e. Hires, Job Changes, Terminations)
Assist employees with the use of self-service functionality within Workday
Provide Level 1 troubleshooting of Workday transaction/business process issues
Provide Level 1 system and process support for Guardian I-9 system
Administer HR programs such as tuition reimbursement, adoption assistance, and military leave
Support inquiries from employees, HR Partners, and Managers via multiple mediums (telephone, email, etc.) and log tickets into case management system
Ensure integrity of employee records and Workday data by running various audit reports and performing corrective action
Process hourly US payroll weekly
Identify, suggest, document and implement ongoing process improvements
Assess inquiries or reported issues to determine best method of resolution
Work collaboratively within a team to share ideas, ownership, and accountability for driving improvements and consistency of execution for key HR processes
Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training to improve policy and process acumen
You Have:
Bachelor's degree in applicable field is preferred
High school diploma, plus 3 years+ experience in HR-related field, required
Experience with Workday or other HRIS systems preferred
Analytical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
Ability to work in a change-filled environment and manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions, required
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Willingness to work in a team environment
Self-motivated and independent problem-solving ability
Spanish speaking skills, desired
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to interact with employees, team members and HR Partners
Excellent telephone manner
Customer Service and call center experience; previous experience in a centralized HR Shared Services environment is a plus
