Within our **HR Department** , you will fulfil the recruitment cycle from start to finish and ensure the candidates’ application process will be professional, smooth, fun, informative, timely and on-point. With collaboration at its core, our team aligns strategic and operational recruitment targets for the **Deck & Engine (D&E)** shipboard population, through direct recruitment and management of a network of hiring partners. This unit is pivotal for us since our D&E colleagues manage safety, security, environmental, navigation, the ship’s propulsion, and all technical matters on board. We foster an environment built on trust and transparency, where everyone's voice is heard. **How you’ll live your ambition:** From our offices in **Genoa** , as **HR Talent Acquisition Partner** , you will implement our recruitment strategy across national and global sourcing markets for our **Deck & Engine shipboard population** and follow the screening, resourcing, interviewing of candidates up to the acceptance of the offer letter. As per our HR approach, we operate with a broad global perspective and provide an outstanding service to support the business and provide an amazing candidate experience. _Demonstrate your passion_ + You execute the recruitment strategy, building an open and trustworthy relationship with all global Talent Business Partners and recruitment agencies. + You strive to build an efficient and open journey for the candidate, providing information in a polite and confident way. + You improve your skills grasping talent sourcing developments, recruitment trends and job market metrics. _Get things right_ + You are responsible to provide an efficient and effective recruitment service and delivery against the hiring requirements in the D&E departments in a timely and competent fashion + You represent the company in the suitable recruitment fairs, job events and with other relevant stakeholders, with a particular focus on D&E roles. + You are sensitive and foster diversity and inclusion in recruitment. **What makes you unique** + You have at least 3 years of experience in recruitment in the maritime industry. Appreciated a previous similar experience in a cruise company with D&E roles. + You hold an academic background in Maritime science, HR, Economics, Psychology or similar topics. + You know international conventions and regulations in shipping, the shipboard hierarchy, responsibilities, basic job descriptions and certification requirements for officers and ratings in accordance with STCW and MLC 2006, and knowledge of various flag state requirements as well as international bodies’ rules and regulations that govern the terms of employment of seafarers and their wage structure; + Even if not necessary, we appreciate a previous experience on board a cruise ship as a Deck Officer (II/1) or an Engine Officer (III/1) or higher. + You have excellent communication skills and you are focused on learning and research, welcoming feedback and others’ ideas. + You are talented in organizing, time-management, prioritizing and administration. You have a good knowledge of MS Office + You are planning and implementing short-, middle- and long-term recruitment performing active and passive sourcing of candidates utilizing approved channels, tools, platforms, social media, job-boards. + As a global citizen, you embrace diversity and communicate fluently in English, in addition to Italian language (mother-tongue). + Teamwork comes naturally, inspiring others to give their best. **Why Costa:** + Your role is going to execute our D&E Recruitment strategy.
