Talent Acquisition Specialist
Level: Entry/Junior
Location: Manila (Taguig) and Cebu
Work Logistics: Hybrid, Dayshift, M-F, May at times need for on schedules on call work
Role Purpose:
To identify, attract, and hire top talent to support the organization's growth and strategic objectives. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
Core Talent Acquisition
Talent Sourcing and Attraction: Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to identify potential candidates through various channels, such as job boards, social media, and professional networks. Craft compelling job descriptions and advertisements to attract qualified candidates. Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for future hiring needs. Utilize innovative sourcing techniques to identify passive candidates. Leverage employer branding initiatives to enhance the company's reputation as an employer of choice. Candidate Screening and Selection: Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates based on job requirements. Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate fit and interest. Schedule and conduct in-person or virtual interviews to evaluate candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit. Administer pre-employment assessments and reference checks. Collaborate with hiring managers to determine the best candidates for each role. Offer Extension and Onboarding: Extend offers to selected candidates, including salary negotiation and benefits communication. Coordinate with HR to ensure a smooth onboarding process, including paperwork, background checks, and orientation. Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure new hires are integrated into the organization. Recruitment Metrics and Reporting: Track and analyze key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality. Generate regular reports on recruitment activities and performance. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize the recruitment process.HR Operations and Projects Support
HR Operations: Contribute to the efficient execution of HR processes, such as onboarding, offboarding, performance management, and compensation and benefits. Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers, answering inquiries and resolving issues. Assist in maintaining accurate HR records and data, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations. Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and adherence. HR Projects: Participate in HR projects, such as process improvement initiatives, system implementations, and organizational change efforts. Provide administrative support for HR projects, including data analysis, report generation, and document preparation. Assist in the evaluation of HR programs and initiatives to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.Key Skills and Qualifications:
Preferred:
Strong understanding of recruitment principles and practices Proven experience in full-cycle recruiting Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and other HR tools Proficiency in HRIS systems, MS Office suite, and other relevant HR tools. Understanding of employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices.Required:
Bachelor's degree or relevant studies or experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates A passion for finding and attracting top talent A commitment to staying updated on HR trends and best practices
