Position Summary
The NSSC is seeking a highly motivated Personnel Assistant III (PA III) to join our HR Training Purchases Team. The candidate selected for this role will manage and administer the agency learning management system (LMS). A PA III provides support to NASA employees throughout their training process. You may also coordinate training purchases, ensuring compliance with purchasing guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Agency LMS:
Understand training requirements as needed to manage the LMS Create new items (i.e., courses ) and scheduled offerings (i.e., classes) Record learning credit for courses, classes, and access-related training Maintain accurate records and documentation Support robotic process automations Provide timely and effective support for inquiries and issuesTraining Purchases:
Review request forms for accuracy and confirm center training authority Review requests to fully understand training requirements Initiate purchase requisitions in the agency contract management system Assemble pre-award packages for review and approval Publish sources sought notices on government point-of-entry (i.e., sam.gov) Complete required documentation for training purchases Review requests to modify training purchases Review invoices for accuracy and verify information in IRIS and P-Card systems Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations procurementReporting and Analysis:
