His/her main duties include providing support to the Recruitment department scheduling and organizing interviews with potential candidates.Recruitment Specialists must explain requirements and duties to candidates, as well as assist the Senior Recruitment specialist in screening candidates and maintain a good relationship with employees, employers, and candidates.A Recruitment Associate performs data entry to input and update applicant information in the candidate database. They uphold confidentiality when handling applicant information. As the first point of contact between applicants and the hiring manager, recruiting assistants screen applicants before moving their applications forward. To screen applicants, Recruitment Specialists review application material, read resumes and cover letters, set up phone interviews, conduct screening tests.Ensure that all the necessary paperwork is filed and that applicant forms are completed and processed.To ensure that all candidates receive a friendly and consistent service.Conduct screening of candidates on phone and face to face.Evaluates and examines the skills and competencies of candidates.Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes.Preparing contracts and communicating all onboarding documents to new employees. Conducts orientation to new hires, briefing them of their functions as well as descriptions of the campaign where they will be assigned. Process Background and Criminal Record Checks.Maintains and tracks requirements of newly on-boarded employees. Work with the team to achieve goals and hiring requirements.To be the go-to contact for the candidate from when they are recruited to when they start in their new role. Consistently adhere to company policies and code of conduct.What we are looking for:
To be successful in this role you must…
Preferably Graduate of Psychology, Human Resource Management or equivalent. At least 1 to 2 years of work related experience.Above average communication skills in written and oral English.Ability to multi-task.Good interpersonal and organizational skills.Amenable to work on a shifting schedule. Achieve goals and targets.Consistently demonstrate behaviors emulating Transcom values.Consistently adhere to company policies and code of conduct.Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS).Ability to work in teams, as well as work on their own with minimal supervision.Promote the company's reputation as “best place to work”.What's in it for YOU!
