If you have strong technical and analytical skills, a customer-first mindset, and a passion for user experience, we encourage you to apply.Join us and make a significant impact on our HR Experience Organization while growing your career in a supportive and innovative environment.This role is pivotal as it holds responsibility for the risk and compliance management practices from an IS standpoint across the HR Experience Organization and Legal and Integrity Domain.You will be mainly accountable for:• IS Risk & Compliance: Ensure that IS services and assets comply with ABB’s global IS Risk and Compliance frameworks, internal policies, and external regulations (e.g., SOX, Trade, Data Privacy, ESG).• Leadership & Team Development: Lead and develop a team of IS professionals, set performance targets, provide mentorship, and promote career growth opportunities. • Internal Control Implementation: Oversee the implementation of internal control methodologies, frameworks, and staffing, ensuring key roles execute their responsibilities effectively.• Monitoring & Reporting: Track the execution of controls, report deficiencies, and work with teams to address and remediate compliance gaps.• Auditor Coordination: Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing guidance to internal control owners in response to audits and post-audit remediation efforts.• Proactive Service Assessment: Conduct assessments of service delivery setups to identify potential risks and gaps, working with IS leadership to ensure timely remediation.• Governance & Adherence: Ensure compliance with corporate IS policies, procedures, and ICA guidance for risk and compliance management.• Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong communication channels with key stakeholders, including business units, management, and colleagues, to ensure a shared understanding of control and compliance matters.Locations are flexible for IS and HR roles. For IS roles, India and Mexico are the two preferred locations, while HR role holders will be expected to collaborate with teams in European and US EST time zones. Ultimately, we’ll hire the most qualified candidate for each role.
Qualifications for the role10+ years of experience in IS Operations Management.7+ years of experience in IT Security, Audit or Compliance.Proven experience (min. 3 years) in managing external vendors in the managed services model.ITIL 4 certification required.Senior stakeholders management and experience with managing multiple stakeholder groups.Experience in managing global teams.Effective communication and influencing skills.Previous experience in process Improvement & Optimization.Leadership and Collaboration.Ability to prioritize work and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
