We are now looking for a professional who is able to take the position of HREX IS Solution Architect for Learning within the HREX Organization. Your role will be to design and build proposed technical solutions for the Learning and Development process area applications including PCS2, Learning Management System (LMS), GLINT applications and other solutions used in L&D area. Besides this, you will also provide holistic impact assessments across solutions.You will be mainly accountable for:• Supports with designing and building proposed solutions across the technical applications listed above and/or provides holistic impact assessments across SaaS solutions.• Considers impacts of proposed changes for other process areas and broader applications and conducts feasibility assessments on changes with the IS Business Analyst. • Designs integrations and reviews impacts to applications that may be impacted. • Supports with resolving high severity incidents or during specific system upgrades etc. and develops policies, standards, and guidelines in the technology area of responsibility. • Is accountable to approve, sign-off and build any solution to be implemented on ABB Production environment, within Learning and Development, keeping the quality and safety in a controlled manner. • Defines the technical IS solution and ensures alignment with other modules and surrounding IS applications through cooperation and collaboration across IS solution architects and IS delivery units.• Engages in requirement engineering to decide which requirements are covered by available standard functionalities, for which functionalities enhancements are needed and for which functionalities workarounds are accepted.• Supports validation and prioritization of incoming business demand in collaboration with the relevant IS Service Owner and/or IS Lead Architect. • Contributes to IS Problem and IS Incident Management to reduce ticket volume by detecting re-occurring defects and eliminating these. • Proactively supports issue resolution during project delivery to avoid delays or any other form of negative impact to a project or service. • Collaborates with users in projects and problem management to maintain, develop and deploy the best feasible and most cost efficient IS solutions/services for the business.• Collaborates with other teams and functions to improve, define, maintain and optimize building processes an standard.Locations are flexible for IS and HR roles. For IS roles, India and Mexico are the two preferred locations, while HR role holders will be expected to collaborate with teams in European and US EST time zones. Ultimately, we’ll hire the most qualified candidate for each role.

Qualifications for the role
