HRIS Administrator

About This Role

HRIS Administrators support HR systems utilizing analytical skills and a broad knowledge of HR processes, procedures and system acumen. This role is accountable for the daily system administration of the Workforce platforms. Primary responsibilities include monitoring system performance, managing associate data and records, mass updates, configuring and maintaining system setups and tables, troubleshooting and provide end user support and training. Additionally, administrators will create and execute complex audits that ensure data integrity and review that proper security access is in place. HRIS Administrators must use critical thinking and attention to detail coupled with strong written and verbal customer service skills to address issues raised.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Oracle HCM Cloud, or experience with similar HR systems in a system administrator capacity. Other platforms we currently work with include Oracle Business Transactional Intelligence, Qlikview and Fusion Data Intelligence.

Major Responsibilities:

Configure and update setup tables such as: organizational tables, position profiles, and locations to maintain core setups. Address HR Help Desk requests to support our end users and interpret the associate transactional data/processes required to fulfill requests. Utilize established audits and investigate system performance issues to ensure data integrity. Provide general knowledge and training on end-user system usage. Execute test scripts to verify system functionality after uploads, enhancements, or upgrades. Document and reproduce issues, escalating to the WFS Supervisor when necessary. Create and collaborate with BI team to develop audits using existing reports and data from multiple sources to ensure data integrity. Maintaining established security guidelines for reporting on sensitive data. Ability to clearly explain the state of current system functionality, document SOPs, and help identify possible areas of improvement. Other projects as assigned by the Manager

 

Qualifications:Bachelor Degree or Equivalent Work Experience Required  (Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field)Min of 2 years experience working in a role supporting business systems, including customer support, reporting, and issue resolution. Advanced: Understanding of systems of record and their data structures with the ability to interpret and explain transactional history (HR systems Preferred)Must have an intermediate level of experience editing report queries and relational DBs like (Qlik, Access)Advanced knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word, Power Point requiredKnowledge of SaaS issue resolution processKnowledge of HR & Payroll processes and procedures preferredRegular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the jobWillingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
