**Overview**
The Business Process Analyst, HRIS will have in-depth knowledge of Workday, its functional areas, and capabilities. This role is in charge of working with HR and IT on maintaining the basic workflows / approvals in HRIS system, implementing (process) improvements, ensuring data quality, and analyzing and reporting on the data in the HRIS. This role will play a vital role in optimizing our Global HR processes, ensuring smooth system operations, and enhancing the overall user experience.
**Responsibilities**
**YOUR MISSION:**
The Business Process Analyst, HRIS will have in-depth knowledge of Workday, its functional areas, and capabilities. This role is in charge of working with HR and IT on maintaining the basic workflows / approvals in HRIS system, implementing (process) improvements, ensuring data quality, and analyzing and reporting on the data in the HRIS. This role will play a vital role in optimizing our Global HR processes, ensuring smooth system operations, and enhancing the overall user experience.
**A DAY IN THE LIFE:**
+ Function as a Workday Subject Matter Expert (SME) who will partner with other teams within the organization to ensure system/modules are used to full capabilities.
+ Operate as HR lead , partnering with Workday, IT, and implementation partners for HRIS related projects to include; Migrate/Purge of New Tenant; future module expansion; new application integrations or any HRIS related project.
+ Oversee the development, testing, and implementation for new projects, enhancements, and interfaces.
+ Analyze and translate complex business needs into effective Workday solutions, considering best practices and system capabilities. Exercise transparency when requests cannot be met/ will cause further downstream issues.
+ Partner with HRIS System Admin/ HR Technology team to drive configuration improvements, test integrations and troubleshooting of current business processes.
+ Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and proactively identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
+ Serve as the main point of contact for resolving complex issues across all modules of Workday.
+ Partner with business leaders to support business objectives by providing meaningful data and insights.
+ Ensure integrations are functioning and partner with functional users to resolve issues.
+ Provide end-user support, training, and documentation for business workflow.
+ Assist with the day-to-day operational needs of the Workday environment including user management, data changes, and analysis as needed.
+ Assist in managing and testing Workday major releases, identifying impact and enhancement opportunities associated with a new release, and educating the business on enhancements as applicable.
+ Actively participate in the Workday Community to identify any potential issues as well as identify any innovative solutions to existing issues.
+ You have a thorough understanding of security and advanced reporting.
**MUST-HAVES:**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
+ Minimum of 3+ years in an HRIS Analyst or Information Systems Analyst preferred.
+ Minimum of 3+ years supporting Workday REQUIRED; Global Workday knowledge preferred.
+ Experience in configuration management in an enterprise environment.
+ Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; including requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, testing, documentation, etc.
+ Demonstrated experience with working with at least two Workday functional areas - HCM, Advanced Compensation, Talent, Absence/Time Tracking, Payroll
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites.
+ Workday certifications are preferred.
+ Possess a strong work ethic for working with and maintaining confidential information.
