TalentWorld is recruiting a HRIS Payroll Specialist in Toronto, Ontario for one of our clients.
 
Responsibilities Provide Tier 2 support to HRIS clients, ensuring accurate payroll processing for 31,000+ healthcare employees using Logibec Quadrant Workforce. Resolve client inquiries related to HR, payroll, scheduling, and leave management via the Footprint ticketing system. Manage urgent and scheduled support requests with a focus on timeliness and accuracy. Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams (e.g., DBAs, System Admins) to address technical and payroll issues. Ensure compliance with payroll legislation (e.g., CRA, CPA) and data privacy regulations. Troubleshoot application defects, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions. Follow Service Management processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Deliver exceptional client service with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Maintain detailed documentation of support activities and resolutions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, IT, or related field. Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) or Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) certification. 5+ years of experience in HRIS/payroll support, with 2+ years in healthcare. Expertise in Logibec Quadrant Workforce (mandatory) and Microsoft Great Plains. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams). Familiarity with Footprints Ticketing Application and AODA compliance. Basic knowledge of SQL and VBA (preferred). Strong customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
