Here, what you do matters. **Job Overview:** The HRIS Specialist applies their conceptual knowledge of HRIS and, with a moderate level of guidance and direction from colleagues and leadership, is responsible for solving many straightforward HRIS problems. They will be responsible for analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures and building knowledge of the company, processes, and customers. The HRIS Specialist understands critical business drivers and applies this knowledge to solve problems in straightforward situations by analyzing possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents. This position is a contract role that will last for 6 months. **Key Tasks and Responsibilities:** + Develop efficient analytic tools for reporting and comparing data + Assist with report generation and Data Analysis using Oracle Analytics + Distribute reports to Management and Business Functions as required + Work on open tickets to get the solutions promptly; keeping the user updated on the progress + Interface with functional unit process owners and end users to identify, define, and document operational needs and objectives, recommend solutions **Essential Qualifications and Education:** + Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or equivalent experience + 5+ years of experience in HR Systems configuration & data analytics + High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Access required + Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills + 3-5 years of Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud, including at least two of the following modules: Core HR, Oracle Recruiting Cloud, Journeys, and Talent Management + Ability to work as a team member + Strong customer service and creative problem-solving skills + Detail-oriented with strong quantitative skills + Capability of working independently + Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and manage deadlines as required + Oracle Cloud HCM certifications preferred \#LI-JS1 McDermott is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
