Position Summary

The HR Information System Specialist is responsible for analyzing HR data to produce metrics and reports that measure the success and effectiveness of Human Resources and its services. The successful incumbent will liaise between all Human Resources functions to establish data mining protocols and assist with the collection of data from each area. This position will also establish and retain relationships with ITS, Budget, Finance and other internal partners to develop and ensure efficient interfacing and synergy of HR related systems.

Job Responsibilities Assist in QA Testing of new implemented systems and enhancements. Assist in rollout and implementation of HR systems and programs. Maintain eTime daily by supporting departments with scheduling, time administration, and testing. Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual Government reporting. Provide advice to resolve business issues, streamline and improve current business processes and enhance customer service across the institution. Assist with the maintenance of manual interfaces and HR system upkeep to include transactions. Work closely with clients to understand reporting and dashboard requirements; lead and facilitate discussions within work streams both internal and at department levels. Maintains an HR Dashboard of relevant metrics to include Recruitment, Benefits, Transactional, Training and Employee Relations data from a variety of systems. Maintain strong business relationships with key stakeholders to resolve data and reporting challenges, including interpretation and quality. Build and document management reporting processes and procedures in conjunction with recruiting, learning, and other HR reporting functions. Daily operations of reporting utilizing a report request tracking tool. Train and educate others (both clients and team) on the methods and value of reporting. Data analysis and data clean up. Education Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, IT Project Management, Human Resources Administration, Statistics or related field. Experience

In-depth knowledge of enterprise system software – SAP, SuccessFactors and eTime management.

2- 4 years of progressively responsible work in a professional level analytical role, both creating, delivering and maintaining metrics and reports that inform business decisions; preferably in Human Resources, or Information Technology.

Must have experience working on operational projects in a professional role.

 

Experience in Success Factors, SAP Cloud Analytics, Business Objects, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI, Business Intelligence, SQL, and technical knowledge for report production.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Recruiting, learning, performance management and overall people data Extensive reporting experience including knowledge of process and data usage. Knowledge of standard metrics and key performance indicators Knowledge of HR data privacy laws, information security and quality principles Ability to build strong working relationships with diverse client base, including senior leadership Excellent communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex ideas and processes to a variety of audiences Licenses and Certifications Working Conditions/Physical Demands
