HRIS Systems Administrator, Lead
Overview BigBear.ai is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented ADP Administrator to manage, configure, and troubleshoot our ADP Workforce Now system. The ADP Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the functions of ADP as it pertains to processing of payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS functions, ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations. This role will also work with HR and other business areas for continued process improvement within ADP. The ADP Administrator will also help build and manage potential integration into other tools and systems. BigBear.ai is looking to have the ADP Administrator report directly into the IT department as a system administrator to bridge the gap between various departments. What you will do Administer the ADP Workforce Now system, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all HR functions (payroll, time & attendance, benefits, etc.). Manage employee records, ensuring updates, terminations, promotions, and other status changes are accurately reflected in ADP. Provide support for the HR department and employees regarding payroll inquiries, time-off requests, and benefits issues. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues with the ADP system. Generate and analyze HR reports for management, tracking key metrics such as headcount, payroll costs, and turnover. Coordinate and implement system updates and enhancements, working with ADP support when necessary. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws. Assist in the integration of ADP with other HR systems and applications. Provide training and support to other employees on ADP functionalities. What you need to have Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of experience administering ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS and payroll systems. Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax laws, and compliance regulations. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot system issues. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to communicate effectively with employees and management. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. What we'd like you to have Experience with additional ADP modules, such as Benefits, Time & Attendance, or Recruiting. Familiarity with SQL or data analytics tools for reporting purposes. ADP Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification. Willing to learn other Systems that integrate with ADP.
