HSE Advisors - UK wide

As a result of significant growth, Wood Transmission & Distribution Ltd UK is seeking HSE professionals at Senior Advisor or Advisor level based in Scotland, England or Wales to provide support, assurance, and advice on all matters relating to Health, Safety, Security, and Environment on a permanent, staff basis. HSE experience within an Overhead Lines, Underground Cabling and Civils environment is preferable although not essential.

In this role, you will be offering on-site HSSE support for multiple electricity transmission and distribution projects and you will need to be flexible in your work location across a region of the UK as Transmission & Distribution Ltd have works under various frameworks nationwide. The HSE Advisor is responsible for the provision of timely advice and guidance on matters pertaining to Health & Safety, Security, and Environment with respect to Legislation, Company Policy and Management System and Client requirements, thereby reducing risks to the business.

Whilst the role is site based, you will be able to work from home and also work at one of the Company’s offices. The HSE Advisor is expected to undertake visits to the business’ facilities and UK worksites in Scotland, England and/ or Wales, for example to provide support, carry out assurance activities and incident investigations, provide sickness / holiday cover, etc.
