We are looking for a HSE Chemical Compliance Manager who is proactive, knowledgeable, and collaborative to join our HSE Compliance team, based in our office in Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium.

 

About the Role

 

As the HSE Chemical Compliance Manager, you will reinforce the HSE Compliance team to promote safety and environmental sustainability in all our activities. You will be the HSE compliance expert for a wide range of activities from early R&D to production and packaging on our Belgian sites. You will ensure compliance with regional, federal, and European laws and regulations, and contribute to our ISO14001 environmental management system.

 

Who You Will Work With

 

 You will collaborate with a dynamic team within the HSE Compliance function. Together, you will drive the definition of sustainable solutions and establish governance for timely execution. You will engage with internal and external stakeholders, including Belgian and regional HSE authorities, to ensure our activities meet all regulatory requirements.

 

What You Will Do

 

You provide HSE regulatory expertise and support permitting needs.You ensure compliance with product stewardship regulations (like REACH/CLP, micropollutants).You contribute to the ISO14001 process and prepare for periodic recertification.You develop and implement internal audit schemes.You act as a business partner for Belgian activities towards Corporate HSE.You develop and deliver training on HSE compliance topics.

 

Interested? For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills

 

Master's degree in a relevant field.At least 3-5 years of experience in HSE management.In-depth knowledge of product stewardship legislation.Experience in transversal management and training delivery.Strong problem-solving skills and proactive mindset.Excellent communication (good level of French and English) and team spirit.
