HSE Compliance Specialist
Job Summary: The HSE Administrative Assistant performs diversified duties within a procedural framework in the processing and monitoring of critical safety programs, which include Drug & Alcohol, Telematics, the HSE Incident Management System and other related activities. Primary Job Function: + Perform administrative duties to support the HSE Programs and Compliance Manager. + Assist with administration of the Company Substance Abuse Program, including drug and alcohol testing procedures and reporting. + Assist with log in issues and other user-related and reporting issues around HSE platforms, i.e. Motive, Vector EHS, and Heavy Jobs. + Monitor new and existing report functions within the telematics and incident management software as requested. + Actively review user data in HSE platforms for accuracy and update as necessary. + Maintain all private-site-required documentation related to HSE, i.e. drug and alcohol testing, DOT, and telematics record keeping. + Create and maintain existing Excel reporting and other reporting and documentation related to HSE. + Ensure Compliance with applicable OSHA, PHMSA, FMCSA, Federal, State, and Local Requirements. + Work with all personnel in a professional and mature manner to maintain the integrity of the Company and relationships formed therein.  + Other HSE administrative duties as they are assigned. Experience: + 2+ years of construction HSE related experience. + Strong computer abilities with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint. + Some knowledge of policy and procedure management. Education/Training: + Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. Competencies: + Analyzes problems and makes sounds decisions in a timely manner based on Strike’s HSE standards. + Utilizes organizational skills with good attention to detail and emphasis on quality. + Displays good written and oral communication skills and employs effective listening skills. + Displays tactful, mature and professional demeanor with good interpersonal skills including the ability to work with diverse personnel, vendors and medical professionals. Physical Demands: + Regularly required to sit, talk and hear. + Frequently required to reach with hands and arms to grasp. + Occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. + Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. + Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Other Criteria: + Complies with Strike’s policies and procedures. + Complies with Strike’s Drug & Alcohol Policy maintaining favorable drug testing results throughout employment. + Performs job safely with respect to others, property and individual safety. + Works effectively with others to encourage teamwork and productivity. + Eligible to work in the United States.
