Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.The work model for the role is: on siteThis role is contributing to the electrification division in Mexico. You will be mainly accountable for:• Support in the continuous improvement of operations (manufacturing and assembly) by analyzing metrics and risks for the implementation of engineering and administrative controls for the elimination and reduction of incidents. • Development and maintenance of communication channels for changes in health, safety and environmental issues in the introduction of new assembly lines and new product projects.• Support in regulatory compliance training and communication on high risk work certifications for plant personnel. • Participation in the implementation and maintenance of the HSE management system for compliance with ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 50001:2018 standards.•Management of cultural and awareness campaigns on health, safety and environmental issuesOur teamYou will join a dynamic, talented, high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.
Qualifications for the roleStudents from last three semesters from careers like sustainability engineering, industrial engineering or HSE related with availability (Monday to Friday 7am - 4:36 pm)Advanced English LevelBasic knowledge on management systems and ISO standards. Independent and structured way of thinking, self- initiative, goal oriented, curiosity, creativity and communication abilities.
