We are seeking a Senior level\nHealth, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) professional to join the Honeywell Industrial\nAutomation (IA) team. This individual will be a member of the Honeywell\nThermal Solutions (HTS) HSE Team at the Muncie facility, responsible for driving\nHSE continuous improvement, compliance, and engagement within our manufacture\nsite.  The role reports to the MMOC Sr. Director HSE and has direct\nreports.

As an HSE Manager, the successful candidate must be results driven and\nable to develop strong relationships with the site leadership team.  The candidate must be compliance focused and\nprovide hands-on support with the ability to deploy continuous improvement\nthrough a strong MOS; to drive goals, objectives, improve culture and\nbehaviors.
We are looking for a strong people and process leader, capable of\nmanaging, coaching/mentoring an HSE professional and site supervision at the\nMuncie facility.  The individual must be\na well-rounded leader that can manage health, safety, and environmental programs\nin a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing and executing a compliance strategy; both Honeywell HSE Management System, and regulatory requirements at a manufacturing location.Heavy focus on injury reduction through culture and behaviors initiatives.Leading the execution of the Honeywell Thermal Solutions (HTS) HSE vision and mission through deployment of the HSE ISC Management System.Partner with the site leadership team to achieve the HTS ISC goals and objectives.Ability to reduce the risk profile in Muncie by identifying gaps through self-assessment, audits, GEMBAs, and 3rd party inspections.Strong ability to use Honeywell Operating System/Lean Practices and Principles to develop, deploy, and continuously improve HSE results and improve efficiencies.Work in concert with Industrial Automation (IA) HSEPS to assure consistent and effective auditing of regulatory requirements and Honeywell Level 1 and Level 2 Standards.

YOU MUST HAVE: 

Bachelor’s degree in safety, engineering or related technical field.At least 8 years of progressive health, safety, and environmental experience, with increased responsibility.Leadership experience in managing people.Knowledge and experience in manufacturing environment.
