HSE Manager
As an HSE&F Manager here at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance of our operations. You will be accountable for developing and implementing HSE&F programs, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for our employees and to comply with regulatory requirements. You will report directly to our Plant Director and you’ll work out of our Rocky Mount, NC location on an onsite work schedule. In this role, you will impact our operations by guiding the development and implementation of HSE&F programs, policies, and procedures. You will conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Your expertise in HSE&F management will help us maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents and injuries. You will also work with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in HSE&F performance and promote a culture of safety across the organization. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop and implement HSE&F programs, policies, and procedures • Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards • Ensure compliance with applicable HSE&F regulations and standards • Provide guidance and training to employees on HSE&F practices • Investigate accidents and incidents and implement corrective actions • Work with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in HSE&F performance • Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across the organization U.S. CITIZEN REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S. YOU MUST HAVE • Proven experience in HSE&F management, preferably in the aerospace industry • Knowledge of HSE&F regulations and standards • Knowledge of the CPS system • Strong guidance and communication skills • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities WE VALUE • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field • Professional certifications in HSE&F management • Experience in conducting risk assessments and audits • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma ethics • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills • Ability to influence and drive change • Dedication to continuous learning and professional development ABOUT HONEYWELL Honeywell Aerospace Technologies (AT) products and services are found on virtually every commercial, defense, and space aircraft in the world.
