Job Description

Eurofins Villapharma is seeking a Health, Safety & Environment Manager (HSE Manager) based in Fuente Alamo (Murcia).

Eurofins Villapharma is expanding its footprint with the opening of a new research Centre in early 2021 to serve the growing market of outsourced drug discovery with its high quality chemistry capabilities. That person will play a pivotal role in maintaining a productive a collaborative working environment.

You will be responsible for enhancing quality and compliance across our organization. In this highly visible role, you will work with leaders to identify and manage inherent and emerging risks associated with their business and to understand the current level of control within their business activities. Additionally, you will develop and execute a risk management process within specific lines at EUROFINS VILLAPHARMA.

 

Your responsibilities:

Integrate Eurofins Health, Safety & Environment Management policies and programs into EUROFINS VILLAPHARMA business processes and ways of working. Maintain risk management oversight.Maintain contemporary knowledge in the evolving regulatory expectations and global environment that impact the business.Partner with EUROFINS VILLAPHARMA line leaders to understand and enhance the quality culture so people , at all levels of the organization speak up when concerns, risks or issues occur so leaders can proactively address them through early mitigation.Prioritize and escalate EUROFINS VILLAPHARMA enterprise related risk and develop programs to mitigate and close out.Monitor and report Performance and Compliance performance, including operational metrics.Working with EUROFINS VILLAPHARMA leadership team, this person needs to ensure the SOP generation for each line (scientific, Environmental, Health and Safety and other core business support) maintain and update them.Prepare data for analysis and reporting purposes as required.Liaise with the European Eurofins Compliance Officer.Run L3 audits at EUROFINS VILLAPHARMA.

Qualifications

We are looking for a professional with these required skills:

MS in scientific/technical discipline such chemistry, pharmacology or chemical engineered with 3 or more yrs. of experience or BS with at least 5 yrs. of experience.A broad scientific /pharmaceutical industry background.Knowledge of essential regulatory guidelines, world –wide policies and procedures.Previous experience in risk management, including root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).Detailed knowledge of drug discovery processes.Demonstrated experience managing and engaging senior stakeholders, peers and teams.Experience working and influencing in a cross functional, matrix environment.Proven ability to manage a broad variety of projects and priorities.Experience in problem solving and issues resolution.High degree of communication and influencing skills.

Additional Information

Preferred Experience:  

Health, Safety & Environment Management experience.Experience and knowledge of drug discovery and/or supply chain processes.Demonstrated Experience on Data Integrity principles (ALCOA) and Document Management systems - DMS.Experience on continuous process improvement processes (Lean sigma, Design Thinking).
