That means you will ensure that facilities provided are well maintained, regulation/procedure are in place and implemented, hazards/aspects assessments are conducted, the accident both caused by unsafe acts and conditions are reduced and energy and waste are driven down.
How you will contribute
You will:
Assist and lead the cultural transformation regarding HSE to help lead plant to achieve Zero accidents and IncidentsBe responsible for coordinating and overseeing implementation of all Health & Safety programs and processesParticipate in investigations to facilitate closure of identified non-conformancesProvide Health and Safety expertise for the plant for all new projects and change management activitiesFollow up on non-conformances and develops the systems to resolve them based on root cause analysisMaintain an up-to-date incident reporting system, assist with investigating incidents in conjunction with the HSE Pillar team/safety committee and drive the completion of corrective actions to eliminate root causes/reoccurrenceDevelop technical guidance programs to manage personal safety and process safetyFacilitate renewal of permits and licenses related to HSE
Manage safety programs implementation of contractors
Lead Sustainability programs implementation and performance
Partner with Regional Security to implement site-specific security protocols
What you will bring

Science and Engineering (Bachelor's Degree), Qualified Safety Practitioner and Pollution Control OfficerRelevant experience in HSE management systems implementationKnowledgeable in HSE legislation, can liaise with government and regulatory agencies for permits & licenses renewalKnowledgeable in HSE standards, HSE tools (Risk Management, RCA, PHA, HAC, etc), and work processes (Behavioral Observation, Abnormality Handling, Near Miss Reporting, etc.)Experience in Personal Safety, Health Program, Warehouse Safety and Process Safety ManagementExperience in corporate and external HSE KAI/KPI reportingExperience in Sustainability programs management and project executionExperience in Security protocol implementationExperience in conducting HSE training, and coachingMore about this role
