HSE Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance in your assigned area of responsibility to cultivate a high-performance culture with a strong focus on HSE. Each day, you will support the business by applying in-depth HSE knowledge and offering solutions and advice. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring effective risk management through HSE excellence along the ABB value chain.The work model for the role is: #Li - Onsite.This role is contributing to the Motion Large Motors & Generators in Vadodara.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tReporting HSE incidents to the management and relevant stakeholders and taking appropriate actions.•\tFacilitating, assisting, and providing guidance on incident investigations to learn better ways for mitigating risks.•\tProviding feedback to the management and employees on lessons learned and best practices from within their own unit and across ABB.•\tSupporting and driving behavioral change through the local implementation of group-wide and business-specific performance improvement programs and practices.

Qualifications for the role

\tDiploma/BE/BTECH in any stream\tMinimum 5+ years of experience in HSE Function from large manufacturing setups\tKnowledge of HSE Function is mandatory. Engaging stakeholders to raise awareness and engage them to support\tPlanning and executing projects in the areas of HSE, sustainability and reporting on goals and progress\tCoordinating the implementation of sustainability projects relating to the ABB emissions roadmap\tStrategic planning to identifying planning recommending and completion EHS programs in accordance with ISO 14001 & ISO 45001
