For our plants in Abrera and Manlleu, we are seeking an HSE Specialist. Reporting to the Plant Director and HSE Iberia, your responsibilities will include:
Managing and coordinating prevention efforts across all company plants
Setting annual objectives and monitoring actions resulting from preventive management, applying continuous improvements
Establishing procedures to prevent emergencies or minimize their consequences
Monitoring staff attitudes towards prevention with the help of Prevention Delegates and competent technicians
Staying updated on regulatory changes related to prevention, and applying, reviewing, modifying, or incorporating these changes into company procedures to avoid potential damage and ensure compliance with applicable legislation.
Advising various departments on prevention disciplines and informing new staff about risks and impacts of negligent or disinterested actions, providing specific training on prevention issues
Conducting workplace risk assessments and audits, and attending to auditors and inspectors
You are the right fit if you have/are:
Expert in Spanish legislation with specific courses on occupational risk and safety reference
Engineering degree or master’s in HSE/security prevention
1-2 years in a similar role
Experience in the production/industry sector is essential
Familiarity with risk software for machinery
Fluent English
Team player, solutions oriented, people oriented
