Qualifications in environmental management Minimum 5 years of HSE experience Experience in working in a resource company operating site, in health & safety Experience working on an oil and gas facility

The HSE Advisor (Environment) duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Providing practical environmental guidance to Wheatstone LNG site team (frontline teams, leaders, and Business Partners) with a focus on compliance with environmental regulatory requirements and driving environmental performance improvement using Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) principles Undertaking field-based safeguard assurance verification and validation activities Supporting site based environmental activities including dangerous goods management, waste and environmental sampling as required, fauna management as well as basic Health and Safety field-based support from time to time Building productive working relationships across HSE, Business Partners and other support teams (e.g., Perth Environment teams, Barrow Island Environmental Specialist, Sea Rangers, Environmental Monitoring Business Partners) to facilitate alignment and execution efficiency of environmental activities, safeguards, and processes Facilitating incident investigations and learning events using Chevron approved Incident investigation methodologies (e.g., 5-Whys, SAFE, Y-tree a Learning Teams) using HOP principles Acting as member of the site Emergency Management Team, including participation in emergency management exercises and emergency response. Build site environmental fluency Partnering with Operations personal to deliver environmental performance
Experience in handling Spills and leaks, Waste management, Water sampling and analysis, Hazardous materials and DG, Drainage and stormwater, PFAS management, Air emissions, Lighting management, Fauna management, Marine fauna awareness, Vegetation and fire management, Strategy to outpace, Risk management Interface with Perth Enviro support Asset priorities – stay focus on Asset needs and requirements
