HSE Specialist

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance in your assigned area of responsibility to cultivate a high-performance culture with a strong focus on HSE. Each day, you will support the business by applying in-depth HSE knowledge and offering solutions and advice. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring effective risk management through HSE excellence along the ABB value chain.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Electrification Area in Apodaca. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tElaboration of risk analysis in operations using methodology. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in the implementation of risk controls.•\tCollaboration with multidisciplinary teams in ergonomic analysis in operations for the detection of unsafe conditions and correction through action plans for the implementation of risk controls.•\tManagement of industrial hygiene studies for the prevention and correction of out-of-range conditions. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in the implementation of risk controls.•\tManagement of correct disposal of infectious biological hazardous waste (IBHW) generated in the medical department. Control and registration in logs.•\tManagement of medical equipment calibration program in compliance with the management system.

Qualifications for the role

\t3+ years of experience in similar positions.\tBachelors Degree in industrial, sustainability or similar engineering.\tFamiliarity with state/country legal requirements in the environment.\tExperience in clean industry.\tKnowledge of ISO 14000 standards.\tExperience in Microsoft Office.\tExperience in waste management (Contact with supplier).\tFocused on the environment and sustainability.\tClean Industry background, legal environmental requirements, participated in ISO.\tEnvironmental procedures.\tExperience leading teams.\tAdvanced English Level.
