Job Summary
What You'll Do: As a Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Specialist, you will play a crucial role supporting our prospective and current employees through the overseas deployment process. You will be responsible for gathering and reviewing medical documentation to determine a candidate’s fitness for duty in remote locations. This will include building a knowledge base of the medical requirements for a wide variety of programs and locations, covering military contractor deployment requirements, contract requirements, KBR, and CDC guidelines and recommendations. You will partner with the R&S KBR Medical Director, corporate HSSE, Global Mobility, and your fellow People Operations departments as well as liaise with program and site contacts to ensure compliance and excellent communication.

**This role will primarily work remotely but will require travel into the Houston office as needed for training, meetings, and events. This position may require non-traditional hours at times to accommodate international time zones and medical emergencies.
Roles and Responsibilities
Review and process medical documentation related to candidate and employee deployment readiness
Update records, databases, and trackers with accurate and timely information
Identify opportunities to streamline data collection, reporting, and analysis processes through automation
Proactively identify concerns and trends, and communicate those to the appropriate parties
Provide advice and guidance to project and program contacts relating to HSE practices and compliance
Basic Qualifications
College degree or 3+ years of directly related experience in medical, health and safety, or closely related field
Demonstrated experience with Excel, SharePoint, and/or related databases
Proven organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
Medical terminology or experience in reviewing medical records
Prior operational support experience in a federal contracting environment
Experience supporting employees in OCONUS locations
Prior experience working with a remote team
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables
Experience with MS Lists, MS Business Planner, and Teams
RN, LPN, or other healthcare licensure
Ability to travel internationally, ideally for 60+ days
