This permanent role offers a rare and unique opportunity:
For the first nine months, your focus will be on developing and implementing a framework to improve HSEQ performance and compliance for our valued subcontractor partners. You'll play a vital role in shaping how we engage, support, and uplift safety standards across our subcontractor network.
You’ll spend the rest of your time providing subject matter expertise to enhance awareness and adoption of key health and safety processes which are being rolled out as part of a large safety refresh program.
At the completion of the project, you’ll be an expert in our safe ways of work and have deep understanding of operational processes and will then seamlessly transition into being a key player in the Health and Safety Advisory team.

Location: Based mostly at Chatswood but with site presence across our footprint 1-2 days per week. This role is operational and so will suit someone who thrives on being on site and in the office surrounded by operational teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Focus (9 months):
Develop and implement a structured framework to improve subcontractor HSEQ performance and compliance.
Engage with subcontractors to uplift safety awareness, capability, and alignment with Confluence Water’s standards.
Provide specialist HSEQ input to refine and embed key safety processes within our management system.
Ongoing HSEQ Advisor Responsibilities:
Support and influence operational teams to drive a proactive safety culture.
Provide hands-on guidance to ensure compliance with regulatory and company HSEQ requirements.
Conduct site visits and collaborate with teams to implement best practices in health, safety, and environment.
