HSEQ Manager

The HSEQ Manager is to manage the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the BGIS' Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental Management to:

Ensure compliance with all statutory, contractual, and environmental obligations to maintain the highest standards of workplace health and safety. Conduct thorough investigations of occupational health and environmental incidents, ensuring lessons are learned and preventative measures are implemented. Lead internal and external audits for workplace health, safety, and environmental compliance, maintaining rigorous standards and continuous improvement. Develop and deliver comprehensive training on BGIS management systems and workplace health and safety practices to enhance staff knowledge and compliance. Oversee and participate in the reporting, investigation, and follow-up of near misses, hazards, and incidents to prevent future occurrences and promote a culture of safety

Skills and Experience

Experience in WHSEQ supervisor or manager role Formal tertiary qualifications in Property, Commerce, Business or similar discipline Diploma in OH&S Management, or a Diploma or higher qualification in a relevant discipline Certificate IV in WHS Management Proven experience in conducting safety audits. Working knowledge of WHS Management Systems and Environmental Management Systems Experience in construction, property management or facility management industries
