HSP Supervisor
Compensation - $27.00 to $28.00/hour GENERAL PURPOSE: Balancing quality, productivity, safety and morale to positive results in all areas. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * You will be responsible for directing, training, and assisting operators and production workers. * Record daily numbers and send updated reports throughout the day and end of shift. * Directly supervises up to 24 employees. * Organizing workflow and ensuring that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks. * Monitoring employee productivity and providing constructive feedback and coaching. * Ensure company policies and procedures are followed, especially safety policies. * Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the other shifts and departments. * Monitoring machine speeds * Assisting with the onboarding process for the new hires. Training 30/60/90 days. * Organize and direct the production of employees to achieve a satisfactory workflow. Staffing white board at start of shift. * Understand and be able to operate all equipment and troubleshooting. * Ability to understand the production schedule and ensure the schedule is followed. * Performing all other job duties as assigned. Qualifications: * High school diploma or GED equivalent required. * Three years working in a manufacturing environment * Experience in machine operations in a manufacturing environment required. * Strong communication skills with strong team building skills * Ability to lead people and get results through others * Quality orientation and attention to detail. * Must demonstrate ability to direct work of others. * Must be able to maintain good attendance. * Must be willing to work overtime as needed. * Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation. * Familiarity with company policies and procedures.
