HTA and Modelling Science Lead and Manager

Are you a passionate health economic modeller? Or love the application of health technology assessment (HTA) methodology to translate data into evidence to inform better decision-making? Would you like to apply your experience in a company that follows the science and turns ideas into life changing medicines? Then come and join us!

Working at AstraZeneca means being entrepreneurial, thinking big, and working together to make the impossible a reality. We’re focused on the potential of science to address the unmet needs of patients around the world. We commit to those areas where we think we can really change the course of medicine and bring big new ideas to life. We continuously forge partnerships that help pursue world-class medicines in new ways, combining our people’s exceptional skills with those of people from all over the globe.

To meet the needs of our growing pipeline and the external environment, AstraZeneca are investing in a new Centre of Excellence to support our HTA efforts around the world. Based in our global Barcelona hub, we have exciting opportunities for experienced, applied HTA methodologists to join one of our two HTA and Modelling Science (HMS) teams at either a Manager or Lead level. By working cross-functionally within your disease area, and with your counterparts in the other global Business Units, you will help us transform the future of healthcare by unlocking the power of what science can do for people, society and the planet.

Development of our people is of most importance to us too. And, as part of our new Centre of Excellence, there will be the ability to learn and further develop skills, as well as opportunities to experience different therapy areas over time. Furthermore, your expertise is critical in our future vision and we hope you would share your skills with colleagues too.
