Job Details Provides registration support for facilitation of patient flow and coordinates with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate a safe quality experience for patients through the continuum of care. Responsibilities: Assist with bed board and patient throughput by placing patients in rooms Tracks DC and monitors actual times for bed cleaning Escalates any transportation issues after hours Responsible for light data collecting and reporting Orders DME for the department and they track and order office supplies Answers phones and address any issues Attends escalation meetings Assists HIM with patient appeals from the care management department. Maintains accurate accommodation codes Works with Nursing supervision on placing PACU patients. Emails daily DC for the house when the HUB RN is not in Ensures patient flow is not impeded. Maintains strong communication and tracking with the patient access department. Other duties as assigned. Requirements: High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. Strong customer relations skills Strong computer skills (MS Office Word, Excel) Medical terminology knowledge, prior hospital admitting experience preferred. Excellent verbal and listening skills required for communicating clearly and effectively with others. Salary Range USD $22.99 - USD $30.23 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
