Position: HUC Senior Planner - Phase 2b

Location: Perth / Offshore CPF

Indicative Term of Contract: Up to 8 months

 

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or construction management Strong experience in Oil & Gas project, especially offshore brownfield project.

 

Objective:

Responsible for Phase 2b Hook-up, and Commissioning and Start-up planning activities. The position will be reporting to Phase 2b HUC manager and functionally reporting to Topsides lead planner.

Provide planning, scheduling, and progress reporting services for Phase 2b hook-up, and commissioning and start-up activities. Develop and maintain HUC planning deliverables – HUC offshore schedule, Progress reports, POB lookahead and associated planning procedures. Closely support Phase 2b HUC manager to make strategic decisions at offshore site during implementation. Functional report to Topsides lead planner who is accountable for overall Phase 2b topsides planning. Integrate onshore preparation activities (Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Logistics and any other onshore activities) into offshore HUC schedule under the supervision of Topsides lead planner. Close coordination with Operations planning and ensure alignment of Phase 2 objectives with respect to shutdowns of facility, system and equipment. Provide all necessary planning information for offshore vendor coordination. 

 

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain HUC planning deliverables – HUC offshore schedule, Progress reports, POB lookahead and associated planning procedures. Ensure all the internal interfaces within topsides brownfield team (engineering, procurement, fabrication and implementation) are taken account into the HUC schedule.  Support Phase 2 Topsides lead planner to develop and maintain interface plans across Phase 2b packages (i.e. BCM, T&I and Topsdies brownfield). Close coordination with Operations planning to ensure alignment of Phase 2 objectives with respect to shutdowns of facility, system and equipment. Provide planning and scheduling input for cost forecasting, for reporting purposes together with analysis of reasons for any shortfall, potential bottlenecks, mitigating actions etc, as well as for periodic presentations to all parties involved. Ensure availability at all times of an updated and accurate scheduling and progress measurement documentation. Participate to reviews and technical audits on scheduling & progress reporting as required.
