Airswift has been tasked to find a HULL TANK STRUCTURAL COORDINATOR to work for one of our major Oil and Gas costumers based in Luanda, Angola.
Starting date: February 2025 Duration: 12 months (renewable) Location: Angola/Offshore Rotation: 28x28
Service Dimension
Responsible for ensuring efficient preparation, execution, follow-up and reporting of the FPSO hull tanks repair and hull structure activities. Responsible for coordination of the hull tanks inspection & repair and hull structure activities on site (FPSO). Responsible for ensuring adequate and efficient communication between site (FPSO), shore base support (Luanda) and Headquarter (Paris) related to hull tank inspection & repair and hull structure activities. Responsible for ensuring availability of complete set of “tank condition summary files” and participate to its preparation. Responsible for development and implementation of the “scope of works sheets” Adopt & demonstrate exemplary behavior with regard to HSEQ rules & requirements as well Company Ethics & “Code of Conduct” policy. Ensure both Company Referential and Company local procedures related to HSE are applied within his/her area of responsibility. Activity Scope:
For Hull tank repairs activities: Verify availability and readiness of “tank condition summary file” summarizing and identifying location of the tank defects identified during previous inspection, Prepare initial “scope of works sheet” based on the associated Service cards the element of the “tank condition summary file”, Prepare an evaluation of the personal and timeframe required to execute the work based on the output of the “work planification sheet”,
Coordinate all activities required to prepare tank opening: Coordination of tank opening and MAD with MOS, Permit preparation, Material preparation (anodes, steel plates, prefabricated elements, pipes, valves, tank features spares parts …), Equipment preparation (Ventilation, Lightening, power-supply, lifting, evacuation, gas monitoring, scaffolding, blasting, welding, …), Coordinate “joint inspection” preparation & execution, Verification of all personnel involved availability, Attend the tank “joint inspection” in order to: Update the “tank condition summary file” with actual tank status, Update the “scope of works sheet” based on actual tank status and on various stakeholder inputs, Update the required number of personnel and the work execution planning based on the output of the “scope of works sheet”, For other hull and STR activities: Conduct survey on concerned hull structure (deck structure, frame supports, beams etc.) upon request Maintain direct contact with contractor for works preparation and material procurement Review and approve repair works procedure from contractor to ensure they meet CPY standards Assist and review DT onshore planning and personnel mobilization Report progress and issues to DT representative in charge
Accountabilities In charge of tank repair and inspection activities coordination Ensure inspection and work execution progress Ensure Coordinate with engineering support teams in order to: Provide regular report on work progress to project Transfer information required for arbitration on defect to SMA/OFS in coordination with site inspector and FUILE, • Coordinate with logistics support teams in order to: Anticipate and relay rapidly any specific demand of material or equipment required to execute the scope, Anticipate and relay rapidly any specific demand on personnel adjustment required to execute the work, • Act as focal point for the reporting and technical discussions related to tank repair & inspection activities
• To Participate to technical review with SR-DAL in preparation of 5-Week Look Ahead and 4-Month Look Ahead meetings
Qualifications/Experience required Education: BSc in Naval Architecture or Maritime education degree Professional experience: 10 years in similar domain, experience in naval and offshore construction activities (construction, maintenance), project management, project planning. Languages: English mandatory, Portuguese is a plus. Good communication skills, organizational skills, autonomous, positive attitude, motivated and team spirit mandatory. Knowledge of Evision/ePERMIT Dalia site application is an advantage Knowledge of planning tools (e.g. Primavera) and SAP-Unisup is an advantage
