What you’ll be doing:
Human Capital Generalists are the front-line resource for handling all people-related issues within an assigned business group or functional unit. HC Generalists are expected to handle all employee relations issues, questions and training on employee benefits and programs, termination and performance actions, as well as one-on-one coaching of individual leaders through all HC-related issues. HC Generalists also report issues that affect employee morale to service delivery leaders and act as part of the team to address these issues. HC Generalists must create an environment of openness and trust in their assigned areas of responsibility. This requires flexibility with an ability to adapt communication styles and approaches to a wide range of employees and management styles.
During a Typical Day, You Will:
Resolve most employee relations issues within 48 hours.Create a friendly, welcoming environment for employees when approaching Human Capital with questions, ideas, or concernsImprove the key success metrics.Ensure compliance with all local human resources laws and regulationsConduct confidential investigations into employee performance, harassment complaints, and potential termination actions.Ensure the timely and accurate update of employee data in the Oracle database to ensure appropriate administration of employee benefits, payroll, and programs.Administer special programs.What You Bring to the Role:
Bachelor’s DegreeMinimum of 1 to 2 years of related experienceStrong knowledge of local employment laws and regulationsOpen, honest, and empathetic manner when dealing with people. High customer service orientationWorking knowledge of database applications such as Oracle and MS Office, or ability to learn technology quicklyHigh level of integrity, honesty, and judgment. Strong attention to detail and desire to follow proceduresTrusted advisor to leaders and employees in challenging situation.What You Can Expect:
