Job Description & Summary

We are searching for a Human Capital Officer seeking an exciting role in human capital to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in human capital operations, recruitment, performance management, learning & development, and in collaboration with our Human Capital Leader support the implementation of our people initiatives.

Job Title:           Human Capital Officer
Reports to:        People Partner

Main Responsibilities

Be part of the Human Capital team in delivering the Human Capital strategy and the PwC People Experience whilst ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations. 

Key resource responsible for the administration of the talent acquisition process, all employee related schemes including the in-house pension scheme, group life and staff and partner medical schemes; staff leave management, staff and compliance with staff separation procedures; 

Support the people partner and business in various human resource deliverables relating to performance management, people engagement, on and off-boarding processes, HR audits, employee wellness and welfare and the seamless administration of human capital operations whilst maintaining accurate records and using HRIS and other HR-related software.

Liaise to coordinate the implementation of the Learning and Development (L&D) activities for the technical & non-technical business skill. 

Preparation and analysis of HR management reports regularly as and when required by the business.

Minimum years experience required

The candidate must have:

At least 3 years of experience in a fast-paced HC setting

Extensive understanding of Rwanda labor laws and HC best practices

Good attention to detail, time management capabilities with ability to provide fast turnaround without compromising quality

Excellent time management and highly organized

Good communication skills - verbal and written 

Proactive and able to work under minimal supervision

Good IT skills and experience working with HC management systems and tools.  

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field

Member of the Rwanda Human Resource Management Organisation  (RHRMO)
