Pay rate: £70 p/h Umbrella/PAYE
Location: Remote Working with Occasional Travel to Devonport
Fully Remote Working with Occasional Travel
Hours of work: Up to 40 Hours Per Week

Role information:
* Provide professional support to the Principle Human Factors Engineer
* Provide support to the development and mentoring of junior team members
* Carry out human factors assessment work in support of ergonomic design development, safety assessment and the validation of the human performance elements of high hazard systems
* Prepare work scopes, cost estimates and programmes for human factors assessment work to be undertaken
* Check HF assessment work undertaken by other team members
* Engage with regulatory bodies on HF related issues

Qualifications/Experience Required:
* Degree in Psychology
* MSc in Occupational Psychology, Applied Psychology or Industrial Psychology
* Significant experience in a highly regulated industry
* Good understanding of nuclear safety assessment principles and safety case production
* Familiar with HF qualitative and quantitative HRA techniques
* Experienced in the application of human factors knowledge in support of the engineering system and process design
* Able to deliver work packages against tight deadlines
