The HR Generalist is responsible for managing and administering key HR functions, including payroll processing, compensation & benefits management, HR Information System (HRIS) administration, and employee onboarding. This role ensures that HR operations run smoothly, comply with local labor laws, and align with company policies. Responsibilities 1. Payroll Management: Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursements Handle tax computations, government-mandated contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG), and other deductions Address payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies from employees Ensure compliance with payroll-related legal regulations and reporting requirements 2. Compensation and Benefits Administration: Manage and update employee compensation packages, ensuring market competitiveness Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, leave management, and other perks Ensure all compensation and benefits programs are compliant with labor laws and company policies Conduct regular benefits benchmarking and surveys 3. HRIS Administration: Maintain and update employee records in the HR Information System (HRIS) Generate reports from HRIS for management and compliance purposes Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality in the HRIS Troubleshoot and resolve HRIS-related issues and work with the vendor for system updates and improvements 4. Onboarding and Offboarding: Coordinate new employee orientation and onboarding processes Assist in preparing employment contracts, job descriptions, and other relevant documentation Ensure all necessary documents are completed during the onboarding process 5. Compliance and Reporting: Stay updated on labor laws and regulations related to payroll, compensation, and benefits. Prepare and submit regular reports to government agencies (BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG). Assist in internal and external HR audits. 6. Employee Engagement and Communication: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and HR policies Help resolve employee concerns Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures Build HR solutions for process improvement and optimization Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field At least 5 years of experience in HR with a focus on payroll, compensation, and benefits Proficiency in payroll software and HR Information Systems (HRIS) Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, payroll regulations, and statutory benefits Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Can work onsite in a midshift work schedule
